A path in several meetings to discover the art of making wine.

Between vineyards and cellars, sparkling and sweet wines, sensory analysis and the history of good drinking: a journey backwards from the glass to the territory, to learn to intuit, understand and appreciate the oenological project behind every great wine.

 

The program:

Approaching wine – First part: sensory analysis and the birth of wine

  • Tuesday 26 September – Getting to know wine, its history and its world – Visual Analysis

  • Tuesday 3 October – Rediscovering the senses: Olfactory and Gustatory Sensory Analysis

  • Tuesday 10 October From the grapes to the glass: the vineyard, the vine, the harvest, the cellar

Approaching wine – Second part: the art of wine and the table

  • Tuesday 17 October – The magic of the table: the pairing, conservation and service of wine

  • Tuesday 24 OctoberSweetness in Wine: Sweet Wines, Muffati, Passito, Fortified and Flavored Wines</ h4>

  • Tuesday 7 November From Prosecco to Champagne: Italian and international sparkling wines

Meetings of about 2 hours.

Participants will have a notebook of sensory cards as educational support and each evening will have a tasting focus on three tastings of wines chosen from among the most qualitatively significant and representative of national and world enological expressions.

At the end of the course, each guest will be issued a certificate of participation.

In case of absence, the single meeting can be recovered in the next editions of the course (upon notice within 48h and subject to availability of places on the new dates).

Participation (16 seats available):

  • €240 (for the first guests)
  • € 290 to follow

Total amount for 6 meetings (location, wine, media, teaching).

It is possible to participate in individual meetings after checking the availability of places.

The course will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of participants.
