La Fraschetta di Mastro Giorgio is located in Rome – in the enveloping historic dictrict of Rione Testaccio – and takes inspiration from the ancient friskets of the Castelli Romani. On the outside, you can discover an evocative ambience characterised, in the hot season, by a green arbor rich in clusters of grapes: the perfect frame for savoring our recipes surrounded by peace.

The interiors have a cozy, informal style, warmed by soft lights and colors. The wooden furnishings and the wine barrels create an exceptionally welcoming atmosphere.
We’ve chosen to combine the gastronomic history of our capital city with an attentive and passionate search for excellent raw materials and products: our traditional Roman cuisine is complemented with other italian regional specialties.
We always use fresh products, different from season to season, like borage, some varieties of squashes, our special onions (Slow Food Presidium), red garlic and extra-virgin olive oil P.D.O..
Our egg pasta and our sweets are prepared by experienced cooks following the recipes of the past. Our menu is daily enriched by specials combining local delicacies, seasonal treats and imagination.
